Use code ADAMANDLINDS at checkout to save 5% off destination eSIMs and 10% off Holafly Plans (monthly subscription). Stacks with sales. Works for every country Holafly covers (200+ destinations), every plan length, every top-up. We've tested it across 33+ countries since May 2022.
Holafly has two product lines and our code works on both, but at different rates. Most "Holafly discount code" pages skip this distinction and that's why the savings number you saw on someone else's blog might be wrong.
Destination eSIMs
5% off
Single-country and regional eSIMs (Japan, Europe, Asia, USA, Thailand, etc.). 1-day to 90-day plans. The code applies to every plan length and every top-up. Not a one-time use.
Monthly subscription. One eSIM follows you across 160+ countries. Light $49.90/month (25GB), Unlimited $64.90/month. Annual billing is ~22% off the monthly rate. Stack the code on top and you're looking at roughly 30% off the annual unlimited plan.
The code never expires and isn't capped to a first purchase. We've used it personally on at least a dozen separate top-ups since the partnership started.
How to use the ADAMANDLINDS code at checkout
The flow is the same whether you're buying a destination eSIM or a Holafly Plans subscription. Five steps, takes about three minutes.
1
Choose your destination
Pick the country or region you're heading to. Pro tip from our own travels: if you're hopping multiple countries in one trip, check whether the regional plan (Asia, Europe) is cheaper than buying two separate destination eSIMs. For our spring 2026 Vietnam-to-China move, the Asia regional plan worked across both, which destination eSIMs can't do.
2
Pick your plan length
Day counts run from 1 to 90 for destination eSIMs. Always add a buffer day or two for flight delays. Our SafetyWing claim post from Vienna started with a delayed flight, and we were grateful the eSIM was still active when we needed Google Translate at the hospital.
3
Enter ADAMANDLINDS at checkout
On the checkout page there's a "Got a coupon?" or "Promo code" field. Type ADAMANDLINDS (one word, no spaces, not case-sensitive) and hit apply. The total drops 5% for destination eSIMs or 10% for Holafly Plans. If you don't see the discount apply, refresh and try again — occasionally the field needs a hard tap.
4
Pay
Holafly accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Use whatever earns you the best travel points. No physical SIM ships, so there's no shipping cost or wait time anywhere in the world.
5
Install the eSIM
The QR code lands in your email within a minute. Open the Holafly app or scan with your phone's camera. iPhone 14 and newer also support one-tap install through Holafly's site directly. Don't activate it until you're about to land, since most plans start the day they're activated.
Best Holafly plans by destination (what we actually use)

🇯🇵 Japan eSIM
From $3.52/day · KDDI network · 1–90 days
We've spent 325 days across 13+ trips in Japan. Coverage is rock solid even on Shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka, in mountain ryokans in Hakone, and in tiny izakayas in Kanazawa. KDDI (not NTT Docomo, despite what other blogs say) is the network. Speed tested at 80–120 Mbps in Tokyo, 30–50 Mbps in rural Hokkaido.
We used this on the May–June 2025 Genoa → Lucca → Paris → Antibes loop. One eSIM, no swapping when crossing into France or Switzerland. The 30-day plan worked out cheaper than paying daily roaming on our T-Mobile lines. Note: Schengen rules cap continuous stays at 90 days for US passports, but the eSIM itself doesn't expire by region.
We use this every time we come home to see family. It includes 1GB/day hotspot, which the destination eSIMs in Asia don't always include. Coast-to-coast coverage including Hawaii. After our Lapland trip in January 2026, we'll be on the USA eSIM again for the October Disney week.
We've spent 327 days in Thailand, mostly Chiang Mai and Bangkok. TRUE network reaches deep into the islands too — Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Krabi all had usable 4G on our last trip. If you're also going to Vietnam, Korea, or Japan on the same trip, the Asia regional plan covers all of it on one eSIM.
Turkey changed its eSIM rules in 2025 making short-stay tourist plans more attractive than local SIMs (which now require passport registration). Holafly's Turkey eSIM avoids the registration headache entirely. Istanbul, Cappadocia, the coast — all covered on Turkcell.
From $5.70/day · Built-in VPN · WhatsApp, Google, Instagram work
Holafly's China eSIM is the only one we've found that includes a built-in VPN. You don't install anything separately. We tested it on our Shanghai trip preparing for our 2026 China route. WhatsApp, Google Maps, Gmail, Instagram, and YouTube all worked without any extra setup. Most other eSIM providers will sell you a "China plan" that still gets you blocked from Western apps.
Holafly Plans (monthly subscription) — better than destination eSIMs for full-time travel
If you travel for more than two or three weeks a year, the new Holafly Plans subscription is usually cheaper than buying destination eSIMs. One eSIM follows you across 160+ countries. We switched to Plans in late 2025 and haven't gone back.
Light Plan

Always On backup (1GB/month in 70+ countries when plan ends)

With ADAMANDLINDS (10% off): roughly $44.91/month. Annual billing drops it to about $35/month.
Always On — 1GB free per month, automatic, in 70+ countries
This is the feature that sold us on Plans. When your subscription month ends or your destination eSIM expires, Always On kicks in automatically: 1GB of free data per month, no setup, no expiry, in 70+ countries. It's enough for Google Maps, WhatsApp, and ride-share apps in an emergency.
Active for Plans subscribers from November 4, 2025 onward. It means we've never been "phoneless" in an airport again, even when a flight delay pushed us past a plan's end date. Our quick explainer is below.
Prices in USD. Other currencies show at checkout in your local rate. Daily rates assume the longest plan in each row; shorter plans cost a little more per day. All numbers are post-discount with the 5% code applied at checkout.

Holafly vs Airalo vs Saily vs SimLocal vs Maya — honest comparison
We've used all five over our three years on the road. None of them is "the worst." Each suits a different traveler. Here's the breakdown.
The honest version: if you're traveling for less than a week and you know you'll use under 5GB, Airalo or SimLocal can beat Holafly on raw price. Once you start streaming, video calling, hotspotting a laptop, or staying anywhere longer than a week, Holafly's unlimited model is cheaper per GB and you stop worrying about the meter. For multi-country trips, Holafly is the only one where one eSIM follows you the whole way without re-purchase.
Holafly creator codes compared — which one saves the most?
Several travel YouTubers have Holafly partnerships. We get asked which code is best. Honest answer: the math is identical on destination eSIMs (5% is standard), but the stacking rules differ on Holafly Plans. We're one of a small number of creators with the 10% Plans rate.

On a $64.90/month Unlimited Plan, that's the difference between $61.66 (5% codes) and $58.41 (ours). Over a year of full-time travel that's about $39 in your pocket instead of theirs. On annual billing the gap widens. We're not knocking the other creators — they're friends and they're doing real reviews — but if you're choosing on math alone, our 10% Plans rate is the best public deal we know of.

Is your phone eSIM compatible?
Short answer for most people: iPhone XS (2018) or newer, and most Samsung Galaxy S20-and-up. Important exceptions below.
iPhone (eSIM compatible)
iPhone 16 series — all models
iPhone 15 series — all models
iPhone 14 series — all models (US models are eSIM-only, no physical SIM)
iPhone 13, 12, 11 series
iPhone XS, XS Max, XR
iPhone SE (2nd gen, 2020) and newer SE
Android (eSIM compatible)
Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer (except Hong Kong/China/Taiwan variants)
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series
Google Pixel 3 and newer
OnePlus 11, 12, 13
Oppo Find X5 and X8 series
Most Xiaomi 12T Pro and newer flagship
Two gotchas we've hit ourselves:
iPhones bought in mainland China do not support eSIM — Apple disables it for the local market.
Your phone must be carrier-unlocked. If you're still paying off a US carrier contract, check first. Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile financed phones often lock until paid off.
Check on iPhone: Settings → General → About → Available SIM. On Android: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs.
Holafly discount code FAQ (30+ questions)
Everything we've been asked over three years of running this code. If you've got a question we haven't answered, drop it on one of the YouTube videos above.
About the code
What is the best Holafly discount code right now?
ADAMANDLINDS. It gives 5% off destination eSIMs and 10% off Holafly Plans (the monthly subscription). It's verified working as of May 2026. It's not one-time use, isn't capped to first purchase, and works on top-ups.
Does Holafly have a coupon code for May 2026?
Yes — ADAMANDLINDS. Same code year-round, updated and re-verified monthly. No special seasonal codes; Holafly doesn't run different codes for different months. Anyone showing you "Holafly code May 2026" or "Holafly code December 2026" is selling the same code wrapped in different month branding.
Is the code one-time use?
No. You can use ADAMANDLINDS every time you buy a new eSIM or top up an existing one. We've used it on dozens of our own purchases. There's no per-account cap.
Why do some sites say the Holafly code is 10%, 15%, or 30%?
They're either out of date or making it up. 30% codes do not exist as a published creator code. 10% applies only to Holafly Plans (the monthly subscription product), not destination eSIMs. Destination eSIMs are 5% off across all verified creator codes. Anyone advertising 30% off as a one-line public code is incorrect.
How do I apply the code at checkout?
On the Holafly checkout page, look for the "Got a coupon code?" or "Promo code" field. Type ADAMANDLINDS with no spaces and hit apply. The total updates immediately. If you don't see the field, scroll — it's sometimes collapsed below the payment options on mobile.
Coverage & networks
Which countries does Holafly cover?
200+ destinations for destination eSIMs. 160+ destinations for Holafly Plans subscription. The list covers every major travel country including all of Europe, North America, most of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and much of Latin America. The full list is on Holafly's site.
What network does Holafly use in Japan?
KDDI. We've tested this on every trip — KDDI gives the best Shinkansen coverage of the three Japanese majors. Other blogs (and an older version of this page, honestly) used to say NTT Docomo. The correct answer is KDDI.
Does Holafly work in China? Does it bypass the Great Firewall?
Yes and yes. Holafly's China eSIM includes a built-in VPN — no separate install needed. WhatsApp, Google Maps, Gmail, Instagram, YouTube, and X all worked for us. This is different from local Chinese SIMs (which don't bypass the firewall) and from most other eSIM providers' "China plans" (which often don't either). The Asia regional Holafly plan also covers China with the same VPN feature.
Does Holafly work in the USA?
Yes, on T-Mobile and AT&T. Coast-to-coast coverage including Hawaii. The USA plan includes 1GB/day of hotspot, which is useful for laptops.
What about coverage in Mexico, the Caribbean, on cruises?
Mexico uses Telcel. The Caribbean is destination-specific (separate eSIMs for the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, etc.). On cruises, you'll only get signal in port — open ocean uses ship Wi-Fi only. There's no eSIM that works mid-Atlantic.
Plans, prices & refunds
How much does Holafly cost with the code?
Destination eSIMs start around $3.34/day after the 5% code (USA, Mexico, UK). Most Asia and Europe destinations work out to $3.52–$3.71/day with the code. Holafly Plans Unlimited is $58.41/month with the 10% code, or roughly $45/month effective on annual billing.
Is Holafly's unlimited data really unlimited?
Yes, with a fair use policy. You can stream Netflix, FaceTime, run Maps for hours daily without hitting a cap. Speeds may throttle if you're using over ~10GB/day for many days in a row, which most travelers never approach.
Can I get a refund?
Holafly's refund window is up to six months for unused or unactivated eSIMs. Once activated, partial refunds depend on usage. We've never personally needed a refund but support has handled friends' cases without drama.
Can I top up my plan mid-trip?
Yes. Top-ups are done in the Holafly app or website. The ADAMANDLINDS code works on top-ups too.
Setup & usage
How long does setup take?
Under five minutes from purchase to working data. The QR code arrives by email within 60 seconds of purchase. iPhone 14 and newer also support one-tap install directly through the Holafly app or website.
When should I activate the eSIM — before or after my flight?
Buy it before, activate it when you're about to land. The plan's day counter starts at activation, not purchase. We usually install the eSIM at home (set the line to "Off"), then toggle it on as the plane is taxiing.
Can my whole family use one Holafly eSIM?
No — each device needs its own eSIM. But the device with the eSIM can hotspot to others. We run one Holafly Unlimited Plan eSIM on the primary phone and hotspot all the kids' iPads off it. The Plans subscription explicitly includes hotspot.
Will I keep my regular phone number?
Yes. The Holafly eSIM is added as a second line. Your primary line (with WhatsApp, iMessage, your phone number) stays active for calls and texts on Wi-Fi. Set the eSIM as the data line, and set your primary line to "no roaming" so you don't accidentally rack up carrier roaming.
Does Holafly include calls or SMS?
No — data only. But WhatsApp calls, FaceTime, iMessage, and any other VoIP app works perfectly over the data. We haven't paid for a phone-call plan abroad in three years.
Does Holafly include a phone number?
No. Data only. If you need to receive SMS verification codes (banks, Uber, etc.), keep your primary line on Wi-Fi for that and use the Holafly eSIM for data.
Can I tether/hotspot?
Most plans include hotspot. USA includes 1GB/day, Thailand 500MB/day, Holafly Plans subscription includes hotspot by default. Check the plan page before buying if hotspot matters for you.
Comparisons
Holafly vs Airalo — which is better?
For trips longer than a week or anywhere you'll stream or hotspot, Holafly's unlimited model wins. For short trips with predictable light usage, Airalo's GB-capped plans can be cheaper. We use Holafly for full-time travel because we don't want to think about a GB counter.
Holafly vs Saily?
Saily is owned by NordVPN. The interface is clean and pricing is similar to Airalo. We've tested it; coverage was fine. We still prefer Holafly's unlimited destination plans, but Saily is a reasonable alternative if you're already a Nord customer.
Holafly vs a local SIM bought at the airport?
The airport kiosks are 2–3x more expensive in most countries and the queue eats your first hour after landing. We've stopped buying local SIMs entirely.
Trust & support
Is Holafly legit?
Yes. Spanish company, several million customers, established 2018. Their Trustpilot rating sits above 4.6/5 across hundreds of thousands of reviews. We've used it for three years personally and on family trips.
Is Holafly support actually 24/7?
Yes. Live chat and WhatsApp. We've tested it from Asia, Europe, and the Americas — always answered within a few minutes, in English.
What if the eSIM doesn't work when I land?
First step: turn airplane mode on for 10 seconds, then off. Second: check that Holafly is set as the data line and roaming is on for that line. Third: contact Holafly chat support and they'll usually fix it in under five minutes. We've had it happen twice in three years.
Are Holafly discount codes safe to use? Will my card be charged extra?
Safe. The code applies at the Holafly checkout page directly. You're paying Holafly the discounted amount; we (the creators) get a commission paid by Holafly separately. Your card is only charged the post-discount total. No hidden fees.
About us & this code
Why should I trust your code over another creator's?
Honest answer: any verified Holafly creator code gives the same 5% on destination eSIMs. The differentiator is the 10% Plans rate (we have it; many don't) and whether the creator actually uses Holafly. We've been using Holafly across 33+ countries since 2022. Our full longform review is in the video section above, filmed in Vietnam in November 2025 — that's a real review, not a sponsored read-aloud.
What if I want a refund or have trouble with my plan — can you help?
We can't process refunds (Holafly handles all of that directly), but if you bought through our code and got stuck, send us a message via the contact page and we'll often nudge our Holafly contact to look at it. We've done this for readers a half-dozen times.
